You've never seen a pen like Jules! It's a three-dimensional, sculptural filigree of a giant squid. Each precious metal overlay is hand-crafted using the ancient technique of lost wax casting.

Jules is named after Jules Verne, author of the classic novel "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea," and is also a play on the word Jewels. The squid's eyes are genuine jewels: red Burmese rubies and blue Ceylon sapphires, with a total gemstone weight of 1.5 carats.

Fountain pens have 18K solid gold nibs, adorned with a shimmering Nautilus, which is the name of the amazing submarine in "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea." This is the first pen ever made with hand-textured engraving on the nib. Buttery smooth nibs are individually hand-tuned and offered in five sizes: extra fine, fine, medium, broad, and 1.3mm stub. Eyedropper and cartridge/converter filling mechanism. The pen barrels are lathe-turned Italian resin in pearlescent, deep ocean blue.
