This beautiful floral pen is an exact replica of
the original Conway Stewart Floral No. 22.
with the main exception being this very special
Limited Edition of only 50 pieces is made from
solid 18ct gold throughout.
This most elegant of pens is enameled in Old
English white enamel with hand painted roses
and little blue flowers.
The serial number and artists signature are
hidden on a leaf in the painting. The artists
requires at least one week to complete the
painting. A greek key pattern is hand carved
around the base of the cap, and the base
enamel is fired up to 17 times in a kiln as
each layer of enamel is painstakingly applied
using a goose feather (reassuringly traditional
methods are used throughout the manufacture
of Conway Stewart pens).
A final clear coat of enamel is applied over the roses to protect the delicate artwork.
