Nazareth 2000

In Arabic and in Hebrew, Nazareth means “ guardian”, perhaps referring to the town’s strategic location above the Valley of Esdraelon in Israel. Later, the allusion was made to Nazareth’s role as guardian of Christian tradition for there the Franciscan fathers nurtured and preserved the spiritual heritage of the town.

Nazareth, the town where the child Jesus lived, is sacred to humanity, object of pilgrimage from all over the world because of its sacred sites. The largest chuch in the city is the Basilica of the Annunciation, projected by the Italian architect Giovanni Munzio in 1969. The Basilica is erected over the grotto where, according to tradition, the Archangel Gabriel announched to Mary that she would be mother of Christ.

Delta has acquired the rights to produce and distribute bearing the Nazareth 2000 official logo. The logo reproduces the Basilica of the Annunciation, and two towers representing the Muslim and Christian religions.

Nazareth, with its landscape made of green hills and rocky pastures dotted with olive trees, and all its precious monuments, has served as the inspiration ofr this new collection of writing instruments. The Nazareth 2000 collection symbolizes hope for better times to come in the beginning of the new millennium.

THE COLLECTION

The writing instruments of the Nazareth 2000 collection are hand turned from a special olive green resin. Diamonds, Emeralds, and sculptured rings in Platinuolid gold and Sterling Silver are offfered, depending on version. Each pen is engravedd with the Delta logo and limited edition progressive numbering.
