Pompei limited edition, "antique fountain pen", was
Delat's first limited edition. it offered the lateral lever
system and it was introduced in 1996. Ten years later, the fountain
pen that celebrated the opulence and magnificence of the city
of Pompei, such as the paintings and pavements found inside
its splendid villlas, characterized by it's design and colors
is one more proposed in this millennium version, which is available
in 2 singular versions of 100 pieces each.
Body and Cap
Pompei Millennium Limited Edition is made from a solid bar
turned by hand of special celluloid in mother of pearl Pompeian
red with inserts of green and gray.
In the I KS/N version the cap is in black celluloid. The cap
is set in closed position with a tight fit using a 3-principle
thread system which allows also that the lever and the clip
always stay aligned if they are aligned when start screwing.
The top of the cap in both versions is enriched
with a precious diamond. The central ring in solid 18 kt gold
features a Pompeian decor represented by perforation of the
ring.
