a shaft made of 100-year old olive wood. The "perfect pencil"
has a cap made of white gold or stainless steel.

von Faber-Castell Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which will appear
in a limited edition of 1761 pens, representing the year the
company was founded. The silhouette is larger in size than that
of the classic Graf von Faber-Castell fountain pen model. The
characteristic figuring of the ribbed barrel is made from the
wood of the Cretan olive tree, which was selected specially
for this limited edition. All metal pieces are made of stainless
steel. The jeweled fountain pen, also available in Fall 2001,
is equipped with a practical cartridge/converter system and
a hand-made bicolor 18-carat gold nib, which ensures superb
writing pleasure.
