Faber-Castell crafts extraordinary pens for the most discriminating
connoisseur under the exclusive brand "Graf von Faber-Castell
Collection". This year, in partnership with the Walden
Woods Project and American Forsests, the Company has created
The Walden Woods Limited Edition Pen, conceived in honor of
Henry David Thoreau, named for his famous home setting and constructed
from naturally salvaged Historic Ash wood from those very Walden
Woods. Each pen has platinized metal parts in addition to an
individual number, along with a quotation of Henry David Thoreau
in his original handwriting inscribed on the pen barrel. Eas
each individual pen is sold, Faber-Castell has arranged for
a new tree to be planted to support the American Forests Historic
Trees.
