Inspired by original Faberge designs, the Fleur-de-lis Collection by Michel Perchin embodies
the artistic majesty achieved by Faberge and his workmasters. Crafted in Europe from .925
sterling silver, and bearing a hallmark from the U.K., each individual piece is meticulously
guilloched (engraved) on multiple levels.
Hard enamel is prepared in small quantities with a pestle and mortar, then hand-applied with a quill
to the guilloche. Each piece is fired to an oven to 1,000 F, at which point the hard enamel is fused to
the sterling silver. After polishing, the firing process is repeated to re-liquefy the enamel which
completes the final surface with a prefect finish. The clip, crown, ring and high relief fleur-de-lis
patterns are then layered in 22-karat yellow gold or rhodium.
Fitted with the Michel Perchin 18-karat gold nib and ebonite feeder, the Fluer-de-lis Collection
will be limited to an aggregate production of 1,000 pieces; 250 Blue, 250 Red, 250 Yellow and
250 Green, available in fountain pen or roller ball styles.
