MP4 Roller Ball Convertible
Inspired by the Faberge Imperial Monogram Egg, our MP 4 Roller
Ball Convertible is crafted in Europe. The barrel of the MP
4 is .925 sterling silver. Each pen is engraved by using a
specialized program, and unique engraving machine which includes
the rotation of the barrel, and 364 independent cuts along
the circumference of each barrel, to form the exquisite Monogram
pattern. After this process, the barrels are then shipped
to the enameller who applies a layer of bonded enamel, which
is then baked to insure the enamel bonds properly to the sterling
silver tube. The barrel is then engine turned to smooth the
plane of the enamel and engraving to form a consistent surface.

The MP 4’s sterling silver components
are then produced by using dies and other tools to form the
highest quality. These components, including the barrel are
then coated with 3 microns of gold. Thereafter components
are assembled and checked multiple times to insure the highest
quality of each writing instruments.

This intricate pen is limited in production to two skews of
999 pens. The one is stunning blue enamel, with blue mystical
acrylic and is gold plated. The other is in exquisite red enamel,
with jet black acrylic and gold plated. The MP 4 Convertible
Roller Ball can be used as both a roller ball and ballpoint
for the convenience of using the pen for multiple purposes.
The roller ball is best used for signatures because it is a
liquid ink and it glides onto the page you are writing on and
mimics the look and flow of a fountain pen. While the Ballpoint
is used best for signatures on carbon copies and duplicates
and last much longer than a roller ball refill. For those who
don’t want to change their refills often, the ballpoint
refill is a clear winner.
