The highly sophisticated art of skeletonising,
a precise craft by which parts of the barrel of a writing
instrument are exposed, transforms it into a transparent
work of art. To celebrate the 75th birthday of the "Meisterstuck",
or "Masterpiece", in 1999, Montblanc;s master
craftsmen created the first fountain pen in history to use
this delicate technique: the Montblanc Meisterstuck 149,
which caused a sensation all around the world.
The Special Theme Edition Skelton is a tribute,
true to the last detail, to this first-ever skeletonised
fountain pen. The transparent, platinum-plated barrel artistically
reveals the delicate workings of this much sought-after
collector's item down to the last detail. The cap is decorated
by a Montblanc star in shimmering mother-of-pearl, and the
rhodium-plated 18 carat gold nib captures the eye with it's
delicate hand engravings.
Two masterpieces
of impeccable filigree craftsmanship: The Meisterstück
Skeleton 333 - a fountain pen boasting an immaculately skeletonised
barrel, crowned with a cap in platinum-plated brass - and
theSkeleton Star Watch 333 in which the internal components
have been skeletonised to reveal the Montblanc star created
from the bridges and platine. Both are limited to a number
of 333 pieces world-wide.
If you want a Montblanc, you want the best. But
if you shop from an unauthorized source, you could end up with a
fake Montblanc, a stolen Montblanc, or product that has been
tampered with. And, if not getting a genuine Montblanc isn’t bad
enough, there’s something else you won’t get - the Montblanc Service
warranty.
To avoid this, always look for the Montblanc
Authorized Retailer logo proudly on display. And be sure to check
for the serial number on the clip. After all, if you’re paying for a
Montblanc, you should get a Montblanc.
