Silver & All Lacquer Mirabeau Blue
|
Montegrappa is proud to present its new
line of Ferrari pen through the renewal of:
Colors
We introduce the color "Mirabeau Blue", inspired by
the new 612 Scaglietti car.
Material
Titanium: light, strong and highly resistant metal combined
with silver; for those you like the appearance of an object
really innovative
Precious Lacquer: on each pen of the collection each lacquer
is applied on a special aluminum alloy in various layers on
the barrel and on the cap. Destinated for those who like the
"pleasure of lightness" in writing.
18k Pink gold: for those who like precious object in line with
latest trends.
Preservation of the historical version:
SILVER and RACING RED LACQUER (FP, BP, RB) enriched with a special
engraving of the 12-cylinder engine on the section.

The Audacious Outline

Silver & All Lacquer Racing

The audacious and aerodynami outline,
softly and elegantly "aggressive," gives to the pen
the character of an object created for movements. |

The Ingenious Creativity
The slanting cut of the cap prolongs the pen's body slender
profile.

|

Titanium/Silver & Lacquer
Racing Red
The particular insertion of the cap on the pen body, with
the clip opposed to the nib.
|

The innovative closing system, neither a slip nor a screw
cap, requiring simply a fluid movement like that of a car entering
a fast chicane.
|
The Avant-Garde and Luxury Materials
Titanium is a light metal, strong and
highly resistant to corrosion.. The introduction of this avant-garde
metal, which requires a long and high-tech working of a unique
block, in the FB edition exalts the Montegrappa craftmanship
skill.
The FB titanium version is the result of an elegant and sophisticated
combination of material:
-cap/section/end part of the barrel=titanium
-clip/Prancing Horse/the rings=silver
-barrel=special aluminum alloy lacquered in Racing Red and Mirabeau
Blue
|
|
|
The FB aluminum version is directly
inspired by the all-aluminum Scaglietti 612 which construction,
light and incredibly strong, offers significant benefits in
terms of driving performance.
In the FB lacquer and silver version a precious lacquer is applied
on a special aluminum alloy in various layers
-cap/barrel/the end part of the barrel=special aluminum alloy
lacquered in Racing Red and Mirabeau Blue
-clip/rings/section/Prancing Horse=silver
|
The most precious version of the FB edition is in pink
gold: elegant, refined and absolutely trendy which
exalts the Racing Red lacquer creating a match of colors innovative
and audacious.
In the FB pink gold version
-clip/rings/Prancing Horse/section-18k pink gold
-cap/barrell/end part of the barrel-special aluminum alloy lacquered
in Racing Red

The Pleasure of Touch and Care of Details
The Prancing Horse (Il Cavallino Rampante),
Ferrari's legendary symbol, is reproduced like a precious jewel
on the pen body using the ancient technique of the engraving
with burin and graver by the skilled hands of Montegrappa's
craftsmen.
In comparison with the FA edition the Prancing Horse of the
FB is smaller and even more precise and cared in details, proof
of the Montegrappa's capacity of always searching for perfection.
Depending on different version, the Prancing Horse is proposed
in silver or pink gold.

|
The FB Silver and Racing Red lacquer version has
a special engraving of the 12-cylinder engine on the section
above the "Montegrappa for Ferrari" logo.
|
|
The Nib Section
The writing block of the FB edition is the same as the
first edition, conceived especially for the collection.
|
Design: section in sterling silver or in 18k pink
gold or in titanium (depending on the model) engraved with decoration
for greater ease of handling. |
|
|
Nib: 18k gold nib engraved with a motif recalling
the clean lines of the pen. |
The Filling System
The Fountain Pen features a special twin-cartridge
filling system which is platinum or gold plated according to
the version. This system has the advantages of keeping a second
cartridge in reserve and, in particular, of enabling the filling
system to be conveniently inserted through the end part of the
barrel without coming into contact with the ink.
As for the fountain pen, the Roller and Ballpoint refills are
to be inserted through the end part of the barrel.

Packaging
Montegrappa for Ferrari FB edition is presented in an elegant
presentation box made of wood, lacquered in Racing Red. The
outside and inside parts of the lid are decorated with silvered
or gilded plates, depending on the version. On the outside plaque
there is the "Montegrappa for Ferrari" logo while
the internal one features the same logo and an engraving of
the 12-cylinder engine of the new Scaglietti 612.
The elegant beige color of the interior and the hand-sewing,
recall the upholstery of Ferrari cars.
The outer-box and the booklets (pen booklet and guarantee booklet)
are in coherence with the institutional image of the project.
On the outer box an anti-counterfeit label is applied to prove
that the product is not an imitation and that the Ferrari name
can be used.
