"Ogiva Collection - Rhodium-plated"
|
|
The smooth design and the round shape, which insures comfortable
writing, remain unchanged but the classical Ogival model has a
new modern version. This is due to the sensitive selection of
material and finish which enhances its elegance.
The rhodium finish emphasizes the contrast between the polished
body of the pen and the glazed finish of its details. This is
achieved by the impact of micro-spheres on its surface. The
nib is also glazed, with a great effect. The name "rhodium"
comes from the Greek word for "pink". Its name is due to its
pink colored chlorine-rhodiated complex salts. The scarcity
of this material makes it precious. It is pliable and resistant
to acids, chlorine and atmospheric agents. This finish protects
and highlights the products, making them elegant and refined.
