Visconti proudly introduces the new "Millennium Arc" - a collection that represents a step forward in fountain pen
design. Ever since 1920, writing instrument design was strongly influenced by current architecture, mirroring the
life a style of the times. Today, innovative design is extremely difficult to achieve for an instrument like the
fountain pen, which is traditionally linked to a "Golden Age" of the pen design (1920-1950).
Visconti's "New Concept Design" (NCD) introduces new parameters in en design, blending elements of the past with
styling focused on the future. The "Millennium Arc" Collection is produced in three new demo colors - each color
representing a different millennium. Both the clip and the filling mechanism are arc shaped, symbolizing the merger
of the arc of time with the arc of history - time in motion for 2000 years. The arc represents the continuity of
time, from the past to the future.
We know that without a past there can be no future, because nothing can be created, nothing can be destroyed, and
what goes around comes around.
