The concept was to represent a different theme in each
side of the pen: 4 times the projecting and manufacturing work
at once!
Visconti had chosen the four seasons as a theme,because
such a complicated subject has never been represented all at
once in one pen. Although in 1994 Visconti already produced
a four seasons collection, the whole theme had been developed
on a set of 4 pens.
Artist Oshita-San has faced the hard challenge to cope
with Visconti requirements, and what he accomplished is really
impressive: he has not only perfectly painted the four seasons
in each side of the pen, but he has also satisfied our request
of highlighting each season with a corresponding and changing
color:
Spring: green shade, Summer: red shade, Autumn: brown shade,
Winter: white shade
Following this system, Visconti has succeeded in giving
a full representation of Nature in one pen: in this way by turning
the pen in your hands, all seasons appear and fade away following
their real natural cycle.
